Homegrown Music is WVIA-FM's exclusive series which each week showcases the talents of regional contemporary music artists in recordings produced in the WVIA-FM studios by series host George Graham and is broadcast Tuesdays at 9:00 PM and Saturdays at 6 PM on WVIA-HD2. June 1 The Currys. An acoustic family trio of two brothers and a cousin, the Currys feature the vocal harmonies that come from growing up together. Their debut album Follow from 2014 was one of George Graham’s top picks of the year. Since then, they have released two additional recordings and made a Homegrown Music live concert appearance. This is an encore of their debut Homegrown Music session in 2014.

June 8 Poor Man’s Gambit. A trio from the Lehigh Valley led by Corey Purcell, Poor Man’s Gambit perform first rate traditional-style Celtic music in his 2020 session, one of the last sessions before the COVID shutdown.

June 15 The Oak Creek Band. Led by the husband-wife team of Daniel and Jenna Watters, the group formed in Arizona but relocated several times. Now known as The Watters, they recently released an album called Intuition. This is an encore of their 2014 live Homegrown Music concert with the full band.

June 22 Anna Dagmar. Classically trained pianist-singer-songwriter Anna Dagmar performs some of her memorable songs that reflect her influences in a solo setting in this 2009 session.

June 29 Lorne Clarke. Prolific northeastern Pennsylvania resident and Canadian native is a big voiced folk style artist who writes articulate and often poignant songs. This is an encore of a 2003 session with a collection of some of his memorable songs.
