Sept. 18 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore with CANTINERO. Before the Homegrown Music live concert series resumes in October, producer George Graham is presenting highlights from some of the more memorable concerts in the archive. This time it's an outstanding 2005 performance by a band headed by British-born composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Chris Hicken, nicknamed Cantinero for the bartender job he had. He enjoyed success in his home country, and then came to the US and made the first Cantinero album mostly by himself. But to perform live, he recruited some outstanding musicians who put on this show for Homegrown Music, combining sophisticated original tunes with some art-rock influence, along with Hicken's outstanding vocals. Originally scheduled for August 28.

Sept. 25 Scott Chasolen. Singer-songwriter and pianist Chasolen divides his time among touring worldwide as keyboard man for the popular Pink Floyd tribute band The Machine, a fusion band called Ulu, and his own work as a singer-songwriter. The latter is featured on for his third Homegrown Music appearance with a new collection of his songs marked by creative lyrics and jazzy musical backing. He will again be joined by his regular trio with Adam Minkoff on bass and Josh Giunta on drums.
