Sept. 6 Fife and Drom. Formed by Wilkes-Barre native Abbie Ahmad, the New York-based quartet Fife and Drom is an eclectic blues-rock group, performing first-rate original music. Their 2015 studio session is presented in this encore. |
Sept. 13 Jamie Leonhart. A fine jazzy-oriented singer, Ms. Leonhart is part of significant musical family. She performs sophisticated original songs with a group that includes her husband Michael Leonart, the long-time trumpet player with Steely Dan, and who is heard on piano, in this encore of a memorable 2007 session. |
Sept. 20 Tom Dennehy a/k/a Breakfast. Originally from Danville, PA, Tom Dennehy us a singer-songwriter with an enjoyably quirky sense of humor, who has made 10 appearances on Homegrown Music going back to the 1990s. He has been based in San Francisco for the past several years, but recently made a trip back to visit, and brought along a new batch of songs, some of them topical in this all new session. |
Sept. 27 Water Street. From Blairstown, NY, Water Street formed in 2011, and have released three albums so far. They often appear in the Poconos, and landed a performance on one of the main stages at the Bethlehem Musikfest. The group are known for their melodic, often folk-influence original music. They make their Homegrown Music debut with some new songs and rearrangements of earlier recordings in this all new 2022 session. |
