Homegrown Music is WVIA-FM's exclusive series which each week showcases the talents of regional contemporary music artists in recordings produced in the WVIA-FM studios by series host George Graham and is broadcast Tuesdays at 9:00 PM. Sept. 6 Bourbon & Bliss. Formed by the husband-wife duo of T.Scott Ross and Elizabeth Eckert-Ross, Bourbon & Bliss serve up an appealing folky-bluesy sound with their original music. This is an encore of the group’s 2015 Homegrown Music debut.

Sept. 13 Jocelyn & Chris Arndt. The young duo of siblings in their early 20s have already released two albums which have been receiving national airplay. They make their Homegrown Music debut in a four-piece band setting performing their original energetic, bluesy music.

Sept. 20 A Homegrown Music Concert Encore with the MiZ BAND. While the Homegrown Music concert is on hiatus, series producer George Graham presents rebroadcasts of memorable shows from this series. This time, popular folk-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Mike Mizwinsky is featured in an acoustic band setting, including Bret Alexander of the Badlees, in a concert from 2014.

Sept. 27 Fourth House. From the archive comes this memorable 1998 session with an outstanding jazz-rock fusion group with vocals. The group featured several musicians who had recently graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, who created outstanding original music, with Megan Johnson performing lead vocals.
